Lip Liners & Lip Pencils. How to choose lip liner? A staple for any makeup collection, lip liner defines your lip shape and works like a primer for the lips while adding a subtle (or strong!) hint of color. Choose from a variety of long-lasting liners in unique shades in your favorite formulas. Mac cosmetic's pro longwear lip pencil is a new generation of long-wearing lip liners. The pencil glides on fluidly. The pencil defines the lips and instantly releases a rich, saturated color. Shop MAC Lip Pencil online at Macys.com. A pencil designed for shaping, lining or filling in the lip. Lip Pencils have a smooth, creamy texture that is perfect for lining the lips or filling them in. They are long-lasting and available in a wide selection of colours that each. First of all, I greatly prefer a retractable lip liner. Second, I wish all MAC lip products were more creamy. That having been said, this is a nice pink color that brightens my NC 30 summer face.

Hey!
Sunday is usually video day, but unfortunately I got sick over the weekend (probably due my lack of sleeping + eating), so I wasn’t able to edit the whole night, like I always do. I’m going to try to upload this video on Wednesday, but maybe even next weekend. Sorry guys, I feel so bad for fucking up my schedule, especially when it comes to videos. I just love posting new videos! Too bad they cost so much time and effort to make… But I promise you, before November is over (and the winter almost begins?!), I will post this video for ya, no worries ;). So yeah, today I will be reviewing 2 items. One of them is probably an all time favourite, while the other item is a new discovery. I’m talking about the MAC Diva lipstick and the MAC Burgundy lipliner. Interested in some swatches?
How beautiful are these two babies? The MAC Diva lipstick is a bit worn done, but that’s because I already own it for a year or something! It has a matte finish and it smells like vanilla – just like every MAC lipstick. And yes, I love the packaging! The lipliner Burgundy is a new addition to my collection. Lately, I’ve been obsessed with lipliners. I don’t even know how I applied lipstick before, lipliner makes it so much prettier! The colours match almost perfectly.
It’s swatch time! At first, the girl at the MAC Counter gave me Vino and Brick to try out, but Vino was way too purple and Brick way too light. Luckily, I googled and came across a couple of blogs that recommended Burgundy and it was a perfect match! Got to love blogs ;). As you can see, both of the colours are really pigmented and they don’t really accentuate all the veins on my hand. Good stuff!
I always like to show you a picture of my bare lips, just for comparison. As you can see, I have pretty pigmented lips.
This is me wearing just the Burgundy lipliner. I know, I haven’t applied it perfectly, I was kinda lazy haha. It’s just the underneath layer, so I guess it doesn’t matter that much. The liner is pretty drying for your lips, but it doesn’t really excited dry patches that much. I’ve had worse. It is a beautiful, pigmented colour and it makes your lippy last way longer!
A full face shot. Really vampy, perfect for fall if you ask me! I love dark colours for fall (and winter), they always make me feel like a bad mofo, haha. So yeah, I definitely recommend this lipliner, especially to go with Diva. Diva is such a true, dark red colour and this lipliner matches perfectly. I love how precise lipliners work and how easy it is to overdraw your lips with them.
This is how the combination of the liner + lipstick look! As you can see, my lips have matte finish. The lipstick smoothes out the lipliner a bit and makes it even more pigmented and dark. The lipstick is a bit softer than the lipliner, so it doesn’t accentuate the dryness on my lips. It doesn’t dry my lips out as well. I struggle with chapped lips the whole fall & winter, so wearing non-drying lipsticks is key. I do recommend scrubbing your lips before you apply these babies, because they do look better on soft, smooth lips.
And this is the full face shot! Yup, I definitely dig this look. I think Diva is the perfect vampy colour, that doesn’t have a hint of purple in it (which I don’t really like). Together with Burgundy, you can create an awesome fall lip. Of course, Diva is pigmented enough to wear without a lipliner, but if you want to overline your lips just like Kylie Jenner (and who doesn’t want that lol), a matching lipliner is key!
Matchy matchy overload! I love to match my lipstick to my nails. I think it looks really classy in some way. Even though the colour is totally badass, haha.
I hope I got you in the fall mood with these dark, vampy colours! I’m a real edgy kind of girl, so having a good, dark red lipcolour is key for someone like me. A lipcolour like this toughens up your look in an instant. If you think your outfit is too boring, just throw on a vampy lip and you’re good to go! I love fall and I think fall beauty & fashion is quite inspiring. I would love to know if you enjoy reading these reviews about beauty products, because if you do, I will keep making them for you! Now I’m off to bed, I’m going to read some civil law and then go to sleep. Good night lovelies.

Hiya! On this stop on our tour of MAC Eyeliner Greatest Hits is Prunella! AHHH!
Macworld Lip Liner
In my opinion, it is one of the very best things in the entire MAC world.
Boom. There, I said.
In a nutshell, it’s a purple eyeliner…but not just any purple liner. It’s a deep blackened plum with a hint of shine to softly define your lash and water lines in ways a basic black liner just can’t do.
I’m wearing Prunella here as a one-and-done lid and lash line color. It’s a little smoked out and a little smudgy, which is my favorite way to wear it.
Prunella is a perfect perennial product, but I think it kicks major rear in fall when it’s paired with berry lipsticks, and it turns out that there are two great new berry shades in the MAC Powderkiss Liquid Lipcolour fam. Here I’m wearing Got a Callback, a mid-toned berry mauve; and Burning Love, a straight-up berry. Both have a soft matte finish that complements Prunella’s soft shine well.
And because I can’t resist wearing pink lips with everything (!), I threw on a pink lip to see how it would look with these eyes… Definitely skews the makeup to a springier vibe.
If you’re into the pink, FYI, it’s Charlotte Tilbury’s iconic Pillow Talk lip liner and lipstick topped with Hourglass Fever lipgloss.
Speaking of Charlotte Tilbury, if you’re in a “bougie blush mood” (because they happen, LOL!), I highly suggest checking out her Ecstasy blush. It’s the one with a peachy outer ring and a pink inner ring. When you blend the two together, you get this perfect balance of a neutral pink with a slightly warm peach. It’s not too warm or cool, and it goes surprisingly well with most looks — especially plummy and purple lids and lips like this.
